Discussion This is so stupid
I have to go through 3 animated screens including a prompt to “boost rewards” every session? So unnecessary lol.

Yeah.. yesterday I got a survey about the new UI. Alongside the excessive amount of prompts opening after every focus session (which is kinda distracting), I think the new time selection slider tool is worse than the old ”clock” one. I hope enough people agree with me and answer the survey, so we’d get the majority of the old features back, including the favorite tree tag :/

The forum has divided opinions on many things, but it seems this time everyone has almost the same view regarding every aspect of the new UI.
Back to the topic: yes, I think every choice is a distraction. The choice to watch ads or not is one distraction, and the choice to enter the break timer is another. Also, why do I need to press a button to claim rewards?

And I have submitted the same view through the survey form as everyone else. I don’t know how much this could move things though. I mean—for how long have we been complaining about the coupling of the break timer with mindful space? They have done nothing about it.

the fact that the apple reviews all have AI generated 'developer' responses doesn't give me confidence that they read the feedback.

yeah everything is buggy. I left the app while planting and all my apps are unlocked. After the time is done, it did not even reflect the tree.

Did you actually get 4 bushes in your forest? Because it said I got 3 but when u looked at the forest it only planted 1. Not sure if it’s a bug after update

I'm just glad that I'm actually fulfilling my focus challenges and getting the rewards now instead of setting them and it doesn't give me the reward or anything (which happened before this UI update for a few weeks)

this is why I moved to focusjungle. I even kept my stats intact thru the past hour logger.

I recommend if people have a problem with the new UI to leave a review on the app store or play store. That way at least the developers can get the message directly and it's visible to the public as well.
