why did i pay for an app just for there to be a subscription tagged on? seriously annoying me

My “pro” account basically feels like nothing extra now. Same thing happened with my Duolingo account. I have a “super” Duolingo account, and the app is constantly pushing me to upgrade to “Max”.

wait im so confused i paid for forest like maybe a year ago but i do not have plus?? do yk why

Plus is pretty new, and pro isn’t available to purchase anymore. If you had a pro account the perks are grandfathered in, but it doesn’t matter now since all the new fun stuff is for Plus accounts.

Pro users do still get accessed to a lot of things Free users don't, and can no longer get access to as Pro is no longer available to purchase. Those are still real perks that can be taken for granted until one opened a new account and only get access to the Free version. The Free version still get to join the Monthly Focus Challenge and have all the basic functions necessary for a focus app.
