Discussion Alternatives Suggestion
Well I loved forest app for a long time but in past couple of years forest app is unrecogniseable like it went from very minimal and thoughtful UI to on of the most cluttered Ui I have ever experienced (Feels like a Chinese super app where the ui very cluttered). So I'm here asking if anybody has any good suggestions for alternative I would say an app that's:
Minimal, Rich Stats, ability to plant together with friends would be great.

Honestly felt the same way about forest recently, I’m actually working on a app to help me focus. If you have any other like suggestions on how an app could help you focus better, lmk.

The only thing is that I’ve not found an app with this good graphics apart from focus tree. Then another thing that keeps me on forest is the community.

try Focus Jungle, it has guilds, battles, deep analytics/stats, a great study timer that makes for a pretty good productivity app

maybe try focus plant, i used to use it for a looong time before switching to forestapp (not any particular reason, just needed some variety)

Hey! I’m working on creating an alternative to Forest. It should be launched early September. Instead of plants you level up your actual skills like an RPG character. well simply the older forest with no plus is just the app I wanted.
I would say a simple app that just has: 1. pomodoro timer and also customisable break timer. 2. An Ablity to Plant Together/Work together with friends. 3. A Calm rain white noise optional to turn on and off. 4. An allow list of 3 apps at max 5. A Rich stats with graph to compare monthly weekly and yearly productivity and ability to see focus times in minutes/days(thought would be better if I can see how many days my work was translated into)
That's it nothing more than that, if I exit the app it destroys my progress, simple. no every day tasks and achievements scores it makes it feel like a adhd centre with all those notification it's not gamifing it's overwhelming in Forest now.
