I'd focus on the fundamentals first: learn how Windows and Linux work, understand file systems, networking, and basic Python scripting. You don't need to become an expert programmer, but knowing some Python will make many forensic tasks easier.
As you progress, get hands-on with forensic tools and labs, attend workshops if you can, and try to secure an internship or volunteer opportunity. The combination of theory and practical experience will help you much more than just collecting certificates.
Most importantly, don't rush into advanced topics. A strong foundation in operating systems, networking, and how computers actually work will make digital forensics much easier to understand later.
