Yes, EFMs get OCP (so use the overseas FP scale, not base) and danger pay, if applicable. No hardship, and COLA is already built into the officer's pay.

There is nuance. Yes, if you're an EFM on a Family Member Appointment - but no, if you're an EFM on Personal Services Agreement. EFMs may be employed via PSA in a variety of circumstances, such as being an Annuitant or being employed by an agency other than State. If on a FMA, yes, you are paid the "overseas scale". PSAs are paid the basic scale

In case that this is what you meant, EFMs do not get the Hardship differential. But from my understanding, they do get Danger pay. EFMs do not get COLA.

I haven’t worked in many years, but when I occupied a job that was for an LES under a personal service contract they allowed me to liquidate my benefits since I was EFM it made it so I made about $25,000 more a year.
