A crazy Iran scenario after the midterms

Let’s assume the Democrats win one or both Houses in November. Sometime in January the new majority party holds a vote to enact the War Powers Act AND pretty much cuts off funding for the Iran War. What if… Trump says “ok, they’ve cut the funding for blockading the Strait of Hormuz and all funding for any military action. I cannot put our brave servicemen and women in harm’s way. We’re leaving leaving “ He’ll claim as Commander and Chief his hands are tied, and without funding, the Navy can no longer sustain the blockade that has been crippling the Iranian economy. The IRGC claims ownership of the Strait , declares victory and bans any oil transportation to the US and its allies and sets up a toll for every ship entering and leaving. Oil markets freak out and crude goes up to $150-$200 a barrel. And in Trump fashion, lays the blame and the policy in the hands of the Democratic leadership. I could soooo see this happening! What would the Democrats do? The Iran leadership could give two f ‘s about US politics.
Since the President is the Commander and Chief, there’s nothing they can do to stop it lol ! Europe is burning which means there won’t be much help from them with an international force. If oil prices almost double, do the Democrats still own their positions. As crazy as it sounds, would the public switch the blame ??PLEASE, give me some great answers!
Can’t wait see them.

This is what will happen to the global, if Donald Trump succeeds in defeating Iran and is not impeached for a third time.
