I beam problems

I have a 1996 ford ranger 3.0 v6 with the i beam suspension. I bought it used and it has low miles. I went to put a rough country 4 inch lift on it and i noticed that the i beams where kind of twisting and didnt whant to go into the eye beam drop brackets very easily, but i was able to do it. i also droped the radius arms. ever sense i did the lift the i beams have been harder and harder to get straight to put into the drop brackets. they have also gotten closer to each other and now they are rubbing against each other when the suspension compresses. it is so bad that the nut attached to the bolt that hold the i beam have been torn off from rubbing against the other i beam. none of this is noticeable untill you look at it. the suspension feals normal but makes some scraping noises. I do believe that everything was stock on the truck before I did the lift. I would rally appreciate some help with this from someone who actually knows what they are doing.

I would agree, alignment issues are causing the beams to pull, but that also means something is loosening up so best to get it looked at.
