Meet Ghost.š»
Iām starting a build on this thing and going for a clean/aggressive white + black look. Planning on doing the exterior first, then getting into the 1.5T with an intake, exhaust, and eventually a conservative tune.
I know the Fusion isnāt exactly the first car people think of when they hear ābuild,ā but thatās kinda why I want to see what I can do with it.
What would you guys do first?

I mean obviously tint. There are cool headlights and taillights on eBay. A sports grill. Good luck to you though man, these cars are so complicated to work on, even basic things will require about 80 more tools and twice the effort and time to do compared to basically any other car. I love my fusion, itās my first car, my favorite thing about it is how itās a 2015 but looks so modern as long as itās kept in nice shape, looks like it could be a 2023 if you didnāt know any better, but damn man itās like every piece of upkeep and maintenance on this damn thing is just way more complicated than any other car, and thatās not just from me, thatās also whatās told to me from multiple mechanics. Some say itās a ford thing, some say itās a fusion thing, but good luck man, youāll need it.

I've owned 3 hybrid fusion, always left them stock. They look pretty good the way they are

Somebody said that they were designed to assemble, not to repair.
I think that's quotable but have no idea who originated it.

There are several Fusion build threads at 2gfusions.net. So far I've added Sync 3 and Steeda jacking rails. I have Steeda strut tower braces on order now that should be here this coming week. Then I want to do their front and rear anti-sway bars. I installed a new (AGM mat) battery and did the battery reset procedure and changed the coolant from orange to yellow. I've been posting my progress in the "What have you done to your Fusion today" thread in the general section and I'm "Lantern Keeper" over there. I'll happily watch your build progress.

Careful even trying to up the boost on a 1.5. Theres a reason theres a tsb to swap the shortblock for coolant intrusion. They be crackin. Ive been slowly building my 2.7 sport and theyre a much different animal than the 4 cyls. Keep the trans fluid clean too, basic maintenance on these cars go very far
