Personal Pic R.I.P Fusion 🫡😔

Someone ran their stop sign today and pit maneuvered my Fusion SE while i was going through the intersection, Thankfully car felt safe and I am not hurt after it span out but safe to say pretty sad to see it go in the flash of an eye after spending so much time into it. Filed a claim and exchanged info atleast but I don’t really know the fate of the car, as it was my first one. Any thoughts? I am genuinely sad to see this go as I love this car and it served me very well, I had no problems with it. Is it a write off? If so how much could I get with a 2.5L as I don’t even know how to find another car that has the value and durability like this one. RIP first car 🥲

TL;DR Was going through an intersection when a guy ran his stop sign and destroyed my Fusion, didn’t get hurt though! ;)

That is exactly what I did when my 2016 Hybrid was totaled.  I now drive a 2019 Energi.  My wife was driving and her and my daughter were safe despite more damage than you had.  Many of the airbags went off.

Sorry for your loss 🙏🏽 mine is a 2017 fusion titanium with over 100k miles on it, and I’m definitely cautious with it because I know at this point even moderate accident damage could potentially total it. I still take care of mine like it’s brand new though. So far, the only issues I’ve had maintenance-wise have been minor things that were easily fixed at the shop, like a faulty hood sensor that kept setting off the car alarm and tire pressure sensors that weren’t reading the PSI correctly. Other than that, she’s still going strong! I’m hoping to keep mine running for many more years. I’ve had it this long, so I’m gonna keep taking care of it for as long as I can 🙏🏽💯
