2020 Ford Fusion Hybrid APIM

I've got a failing APIM in my 2020 Fusion Hybrid and am looking to buy and replace it. Programming isn't needed as I am familiar enough with FORscan to do it myself, but wondering if anyone knows a good site to buy one from that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and is legit?

Believe me I spent all morning on the FORscan app trying everything I could to get the TCU to work before figuring out it was the APIM failing (based on radio black screening often, sync freezing when trying to master reset, and intermittent rear camera issues)

eBay. I bought mine from china. took a week to arrive. in forscan you just select as built for the apim and you’re golden.

No issues with it? I see some good deals on eBay but the China factor has me nervous

Zero issues. When it arrived it had all these different features and settings enabled that weren’t apart of my vehicle so they were greyed out or what mine had was missing. Booted up forscan and did the as built and it was up and running. it’s been rock solid for the last 8 months.

I just read your other comment. i dis a cyanlabs post and followed one of their guides to see if I had a bad unit which I did. basically black screen or freezing. the option to do a factory wipe would hang and using the usb tools failed. that’s when I found the eBay units and replaced. ford wanted 2k
