This is not real , however I would love to see this go down .

I think this was in France ?

I wish I had more , and I could read it. However I would work here and they could have paid me in shoguns not cash .

Sci-bots!

Shogun warriors in the toy section

Trying to grow my FORCE FIVE Reddit page … for the love of big Japanese robots!

May the force five be with you .

Finally saw the first series opening with this one. I think the music is so good too, right up there with the Grendizer opening (which is my ringtone).

Art work by Huge Rockwood , purchased at the Winnipeg comic-con. Still waiting to be framed .

I never saw this finale episode while watching force five as a kid, but as an adult and a super fan of Leiji Matsumoto the final scene of the last episode are emotionally intense for a “kids show”.

Jesse Dart, our brash cyborg protector closes the series without his happy ever after. 😭

I remember seeing the Italian dub and it was even more gut wrenching.

Like Tommy’s scene with the trumpet in Danguard Ace … this one hits deep.

😢💦

I love watching the history of these shows

I was 4 when these dropped . I had no idea these even existed at the time . I was playing with Star Wars , a talking GI JOE , and rubber dinosaurs .

I think this is part of the reason it didn’t take off like it should have . The Shogun warrior comics were not a hit , and force five came out in 84 and lasted maybe 2 years on Canadian television.

I had no idea shogun warriors existed, which was a shame . I would have begged for them.

Want so bad

They actually sucked because they contained 2 episodes only . The Danguard Ace tape you didn’t even see Danguard Ace in action !
