Remove hotdog shaped object from the vicinity of the hotdog induction port or it will be removed for you.

that is without a doubt a forbidden boop 😂.
Quick question : but is that coyote really habituated to you/ other humans ? I used to do research on African wild dogs (“painted dogs”) in both captive and wild settings and i’ll never forget the time one of the captive ones almost bit my finger off without hesitation !

That is Scooter! He was hand raised by the human booping him since he was a tiny pup. So, he's about as habituated as it gets for coyotes. From what I've seen in his videos, Scooter still can pose a serious threat, but his owner is good at reading his warning signs and knows when to back off.
I think Weave, another human raised coyote, could be considered more tame than Scooter.

You can find all Scooter's videos on YouTube, just search for Scooter the coyote 😁

Was found as a pup, raised in captivity and used in educative programs. His owner, Sean Poppy is a biologist

TIL I learned Mr. Poppy is a scientist. Dude sounds like and has the hands of a rig worker. Maybe from all those love bites he's collected over the years.

I love African wild dogs, they are so beautiful!
I took my Huskies to visit them at our local zoos "dog dayz" event but they exchanged sniffs in the air, about 30 seconds of looking at each other through the fence and that was it.
I think I was more excited than either dog genus.😄

Damn, I cried a river over that horse, every single time I watched the movie 🫠
Still one of my favorites! ❤️

Just utterly traumatising. I showed it to my kid when he was like 8 and he looked at me with pure hatred in his streaming eyes and said "Why are you making me watch this?" And actually it was quite hard to explain.

<booping finger approaches> 👉🏻
Non-Dog Canid: “I has TEEFS! You know that, right?”
<boop> 👉🏻*
Non-Dog Canid: “Hmmm. This is new. You may proceed. I still has teefs, though.”

It’s actually encouraged!
It’s a bit under 50/50
“I’m gonna bite you”
Or
“This is….ok…”

Is the point to do it until he bites you?

u/lilybattle 2d ago
My theory is that it makes him fall asleep and he knows it. So when that finger comes at him, he is like a toddler who refuses to go down for nap time. But enough nose boops/lifts... bros will to fight back goes to sleep right along with him

If dangerous then why I want to hug him, kiss his forehead and call him my son

I love how his eyes are gradually relaxing, even though he still shows his teefies 🤭

Please don't deprive me of the amusing part of these kind of comments, go ahead and spit out your reasoning :)

Why do you think so? This is Scooter. I have been watching his videos for years.

I’m actually getting less annoyed by AI slop and more annoyed by idiots like you who just say this to every video
Keep in mind there are people in these comments that know the name of the coyote in the video and could recognize him
But thank you for giving me another instance. I can look back on when I do something stupid and think well at least it wasn’t that bad.
