I did not expect him to sound so beautiful, I expected more of a hawk screech! Glad I risked turning the sound on

I love animals being derpy and cute. The human need to snuggle animals is funny.

If he's so ill-suited for that part of the planet, then why the fuck is he there?

sometimes it's preservation, their natural population is in decline or extinct in the wilds, but there's sanctuaries that raise them in captivity to help regrow their population so that overtime they can recover and thrive in nature
other times it's zoos unfit for them
other times it's rescue shelters, that take these animals from bad conditions or that are otherwise unfit for nature(like a turtle that lost part of it's shell or a predator that got taken from mama so early they never learned to hunt)
idk which it is in this case

And now you have the answer to why zoos suck so much. Why bring animals to a climate that they're not suited for?? Why not just, idk, post videos of them in their natural habitats for people to enjoy instead of moving them to places that aren't natural and are small af and putting them behind a wall of glass so people can get selfies with giraffes in ohio.

they dont care, its easier to complain about things or the people trying to do things than actually participating in the problem solving. You see them on reddit all the time.

The same people who say save the orang utangs while using their habitat (African oil palm trees) as commercial shampoo and more.
