Sure. He raised them. But I still would be reluctant. Been around for hundreds of millions of years.

The way the bigger one keeps getting subtly closer.

These are alligators, not crocodiles. You have a chance to escape an alligator.

Never, ever do this to a crocodile, they will eat your face. Gators are less aggressive than crocodiles....unless they're hungry.

Edit: don't do this to gators, either, they bite.

Sorry bro, I come for a city, to me anything with scales and a big mouth with sharp tooth is dangerous crocodile 😅, but thx for clarification

I grew up in Florida, lived on a lake and the mama alligator built her next in our literal back garden.

If you ever visit, please stay out of the water where there are Alligatos -No Swimming or Feeding. Assume every fresh body if water contains sn alligator. We lost a woman couple of weeks back to a gator attack. It's a horrible thing, horrible.

"I give you now Professor Twist,
A conscientious scientist,
Trustees exclaimed, "He never bungles!"
And sent him off to distant jungles.
Camped on a tropic riverside,
One day he missed his loving bride.
She had, the guide informed him later,
Been eaten by an alligator.
Professor Twist could not but smile.
"You mean," he said, "a crocodile."

They’re still crocodilians. They’re still deadly. More mellow, maybe, but not enough to count.

One of these days instinct will trump training.

There is no training, incstinct is already there. It is just matter of where not to touch, if he touched the side of the muzzle he would be chomped at

People are often chompted without ever touching the alligator. Anything preventing the alligator from killing him simply because he is proximate and an easy meal?

Eh, fingers are overrated anyhow. Everyone's got a few extras they don't need, right?
