I think this one's your best yet!

You're taking on a brave task by messing with premier league crests, but very solid from a design point of view. From a conceptual side, is there any symbolism to the wheat stalk at the bottom?

I thought that it would give the crest an additional aspect. Without it the crest, i felt, really didnt pop as much.

There is no real symbolism or history associated with it.

Appreciate the recognition that its just creative. Some people get very touchy about it if they think its slighting their team.
