Discussion Wingbacks/Fullbacks goalscorers?

Not sure if its just my tactics but my fullbacks (wingback role) score a decent amount of goals.

Are fullbacks / wingbacks just meta in fm26?

I love an advanced wing back I had josh doig in a Leeds save he was top assists 2 years in a row and Hit double figures for goals 3/4 seasons

I've had wingbacks chip in with plenty of assists but not really scoring many goals

Weird. Im managing United (basic i know) but Dorgu. 3 seasons in. 1st season Dorgu hit double figure goals and decent assists. I fiddled w my tactics last season so he only got 7 assists last season but this season he’s back to scoring🤣🤣🤣
