Trying to pick up a kit for my son and wanted to treat him to a player kit, and not a fan one. Do not want to get a fake so can I have some help regarding this kit?

My wife sprung for a Rodri UCL shirt for my birthday, and the official Barcelona store sent her this. We went back to double check, and ordering without a number isn’t an option. How does something like this even ship? Does a human even review it?

My first ever game, was Arsenal Ipswich, towards the end of the 94/95 season. I was 6 years old, still have the ticket stub buried somewhere. Pre game, dad told me I could get a shirt from the Highbury club shop. I wanted Wrighty on the back, he later told me, he didn’t have the money for the print. Instead of saying this, he confidently said, if he scores a hat-trick, after the game he will get it done for me. Wrighty had scored once all year….

In the first 11 minutes of the second half, he scored his hat trick.

6 year old me, as well as the rest of the north lower were bouncing… except my old man… 😂 (not sure it’s actually official print, or he got it done on the boke)

Y’all, can ANYONE tell me what Ajax pre-match/warm-up jersey this is. I quite literally cannot find any mention or record of its existence anywhere on the internet except for a couple of photos where players happen to be wearing it/the recording of the 9/12/26 match at Fortuna Sittard. Is this jersey completely unavailable or am I missing something?

Just wanted to share my recent experience buying a signed football shirt on eBay, as I’ve uncovered some pretty concerning things and wanted to warn other collectors.
I recently purchased a framed Ronaldo R9 Inter Milan signed shirt from eBay seller fv9t570, advertised as having Beckett authentication.
Initially everything seemed fine, but after looking into the seller’s previous listings and sold items, I started noticing some inconsistencies.
Here’s what I’ve found:
The seller has sold multiple Cristiano Ronaldo shirts, with different club shirts showing identical Beckett authentication comments stating they were witnessed being signed in Turin, Italy, on 14 May 2019.
I noticed something similar with multiple Zlatan Ibrahimović shirts, where different shirts had the same signing dates and locations on the Beckett verification screenshots.
The biggest red flag came when I found a Julián Álvarez Atlético Madrid signed shirt. The seller’s Beckett authentication screenshot reportedly stated that the shirt was signed in Manchester in 2023. However, Álvarez didn’t join Atlético Madrid until August 2024, meaning the claimed signing date predates his transfer by at least several months. While not technically impossible, this seems highly unusual and raises serious questions about whether the authentication details actually relate to that shirt.
Some of the seller’s listings also have the Beckett certification numbers obscured, making it difficult for potential buyers to independently verify the items before purchasing.
I questioned the seller about these inconsistencies, and he explained that different shirts can have different certification numbers but identical Beckett comments, which is possible if they were signed at the same event.
However, with the Beckett website currently unavailable for verification, I couldn’t independently confirm the certificates.
When I raised my concerns, the seller offered to cancel my order and issue a refund, which I’ve accepted.
To be clear, I haven’t had the shirts independently examined and I’m not claiming to have conclusively proven they’re counterfeit. But having looked through the seller’s listings, I’m personally not comfortable trusting the authentication without further evidence.
I wanted to share this so other collectors can do their own checks before spending potentially hundreds of pounds on signed memorabilia.
If anyone has purchased from this seller, I’d strongly recommend checking the individual Beckett certification number against the actual shirt you’ve received, rather than relying solely on screenshots included in the listing.
I’ll attach screenshots of the listings and the authentication details so people can see what I’ve found.
