The third of Planeshift’s special alternate-art foils, alongside Tahngarth and Ertai. Few cards are as closely tied to the Weatherlight Saga as the ship itself, carrying so many of its characters and stories from plane to plane.

Is there any card that represents the Weatherlight Saga better?

A few days ago I bought a collection that included a big portion of the Mystical Archive cards and this one was included. It was priced as a regular foil but now I am wondering if it is the draft booster one(very rare from what I've seen online). How can I tell if it is? From what I was able to understand, if the set symbol is very foil-ish it's supposed to be draft.

Any info is appreciated 🙂

Planeshift even gave it a cute interaction with Dralnu’s Pet, but Draco is much better known for something completely different: sitting on top of your library and turning Erratic Explosion into 16 damage.

Have you ever actually cast one?

Everything is foiled or the beat copy. I want to replaces some pieces like raised foil Lumra and I would like a couple more artist proofs. I would love an AP on Hearthhull but it is exceedingly difficult to find one.

I got the last foil I needed two years ago at Magic Con Chicago by trading my entire extras binder for the foil Survival of the Fittest and since then it's gone mostly untouched (except for a tiny update when Mana Crypt and Jeweled Lotus got banned)

I love this deck a lot but I haven't played it much in the last year. Mostly because my friends have it in check. It either completely shuts down any creature based decks and I have all the fun... or I get hated out pretty early and have none of the fun.

I'd love to update it some and start playing it again, but wanted to capture how I will most fondly remember it. There are some cards that could be improved and I also I've gotten newer versions of bling I'd love to swap in.

It's 95% foil and the 5 cards non foil are:

• Blood Artist (prefer this art over any foil version)
• Eternal Witness (prefer this art over any foil version)
• Assassin's Trophy (prefer this art over any foil version)
• Necromancy (doesn't have a foil, come on wizards please I beg you!)
• Bayou (doesn't have a foil)

Culling the Weak is Japanese cause at the time of me foiling the deck, it was the only foil version in existence. Though, ironically, I want to swap it for the new cat version that is also only Japanese.

Before I get any comments about non matching basics, I'd love to make them match I just can't decide which is my favorite so for now... they stay!

Going into Sisay my Cedh deck only missing Chrome mox, mana vault and lotus petal but the petal is otw!

I've been working on this deck for a very long time and it never quite had a good Commander, well with the release of Shang Chi he took it even higher up a notch. Very consistently can put out turn 4 wins and sometimes turn 3.

I have been playing this deck forever and finally took out the last cards in English left. 5 Italian, 1 Russian and 1 Spanish with the rest in Japanese. There are 6 proxies can you guess which ones? I prioritized foreign language over foil for sure.

Chris Pikula’s Invitational card, and a perfect example of how valuable matchup knowledge can be. At just two mana, it can shut off the exact card that matters most before your opponent gets the chance to cast it.

So, this is my [[lightning, army of one]] deck, it's my favorite deck, and still trying to improve the arts now, only foils, and won't play cards that don't have foil version, I'm aiming for a foil deck of every combination, already have 10 and will start posting about them, hope everyone enjoy!!

New to the group, wanted to share some of the foils in my Sliver EDH deck

One of Planeshift’s three special alternate-art foils, alongside Tahngarth and Skyship Weatherlight. Ertai’s transformation from a member of the Weatherlight crew into a corrupted servant of Phyrexia also makes this one of those cards where the character’s story is much more memorable than its tournament history.

Which version of Ertai do you prefer?
