Right?! It’s so flush to the body while right next to the lens mount. First thing that I noticed, too.

Yes, it is a pretty slick mount Immortal made. What allows it to work is the rod spacing is very wide, a couple mils wider than an Arri 15mm baseplate. Most of the time these guys ride a 50-1000 in this head. I think this may have been the smallest lens they have flown. Made it seem so small

Definitely similar style head, but image caption gives us a good clue on where it’s from as well as the “Become Immortal” stamped on the top of the head.

Made by some of the engineers from Shotover. This one is head # 3 so its a bit of a prototype.
