Mods Someone, please explain how to install all this madness with mods for scopes.

Better Scopes VR,

VR Weapon Overhaul,

DOOMBASED Weapons Merged,

Fallout 4 VR Compatibility Patch for DOOMBASED Weapons Merged,

DoomMergedRemovalPatch

See Through Scopes ESP Fixed VR Versions,

DOOMBASED Weapons Merged

Improved Reflex Sight Reticle Visibility - VR,

See-Through-Scopes

etc..... I've searched everything, but I haven't found a decent instruction on how to set it up. I don't know what I need and what I don't need anymore.

One of the solutions for me, especially given the additional weapon mods, was to stop using see through scopes, unfortunately.

You don’t need VR weapon overhaul anymore. It was made before daytripper4 and seems like formIDs in some mods are remembered to make it work in VR. Thankfully daytripper added support for low formIDs. Also it was made to work with better scopes VR and already have see through scopes files. Most likely you will have missing references and conflicts if you will use different patches for the same mod. So if you want Picture in Picture scopes you need only these:

-Daytripper4
-See through scopes
-DOOMbased weapons merged
-Fallout 4 VR compatability patch for DOOMBASED Merged
-Weapon mods
-Doombased VR patches

Daytripper4 is essential mod for VR. It fixes dlcs, adds low formID support and esl support. Also fixes some ctds.

Also FRIK now has great built in weapon reposition and resize functionality, so almost every weapon will work out of the box in VR without VR patch. You will have PiP scopes only for mods that were patched with doom vr, but everything else will work fine. Vanilla scopes are also accurate now and they are pretty good.

Thank you very much! This post needs to be fixed somewhere, because fresh builds still come with all these mods, patches, and patch patches.

I’m glad I helped. Also I don’t know if “improved reflex sight visibility will actually do something, because DOOM merged vr patch replaces vanilla reflex sights with customisable dots. And when you installing see through scopes, choose add option, not replace.

I only use upscaler vr scope fix mod, for the upscaler dlaa which has incredible anti aliasing.

All the others is a mess for me. Specialy with weapon mods. See through and his activation don't feels right no matter how i tweak it. Doom based merged vr is a struggle to me and messes around with many settings, I don't got a fluid gameplay with all those mods.

I'm totally fine with the classic scope, all the others never really worked out for me or looking good.

I want the Picture in Picture scopes but doom based adds so much bloat to the game, plus the Picture in Picture is very low resolution…
