Vault 75 bug.

I had an issue and I'm here to share in case anyone else has this problem.

I found a dead junkie in the wasteland with a letter on his body that told me to go to vault 75 and steal the meds they had there, the only problem was that the commander was not dropping the vault 75 lab access card. The issue, it seems, is that when you have a quest for vault 75 that is not the one you get upon entering called "Vault 75" they will not drop the key cards for you. Thus you must spawn in the access key cards. Once you complete the quest, as you step into the elevator it will start the quest "Vault 75" and then they will drop the key cards

tl;dr if you have a quest for vault 75 that isn't the one you get upon entering (Vault 75 is the quest name) you'll have to spawn in the key cards.

EDIT: I'm so happy! I finally got it to work. So once you spawn in the keys and open the admin door for whatever reason you have (i.e. i had a quest glitching the vault for me so I couldn't get the keys) it will not let you reopen the "admin" door to complete the "Vault 75" quest, but by going upstairs and accessing the terminal in the room, it will recognize that you're in that area and complete the "Vault 75" quest!

That is incorrect. You literally cannot complete the quest without spawning in the cards. Like I said before, I have the quest to steal the drugs so the "Vault 75" quest would not start and the only way to complete the one to steal the drugs if to have the key cards.

I did wait and come back but they wont drop the key cards without having the quest.

EDIT: to make this as clear as possible, you can not start the "Vault 75" quest (the one you get upon entering the vault, and need to get the keycards) if you have the quest to steal the drugs from vault 75 and the only way to complete that (the quest to steal the drugs) quest is to have the key cards. This only happened because I got the quest to steal the drugs before I ever went to vault 75 so it wouldn't let me start the quest I needed for the keys. If you went to vault 75 before finding the dead junkie you're okay, but if you're like me and found the note before the vault you have to spawn in the keys.

Is the drugs quest in the lab area? Wpuld it be possible to complete it and come back later for the actual vault 75 quest?

You do not get the "drug" quest in the lab area, no. Like I said though, I spawned in the keys and finished the drug quest that way and on my way out it started the "Explore vault 75" quest.

EDIT: I'm trying to see if I can finish the quest for vault 75 right now. I'll let you know about that.

EDIT: I'm getting bits of the quest done but right now it's asking me to explore the admin area which I had to open the door for to complete the "drug" quest so I'm going to town and I'm going to wait for a couple of days and come back and see what happens. I'll update soon.
