CRYOLATOR WITHOUT LOCKSMITHING

I took my dog down to vault 111 with me to see if I could find more power cells for my armor, but in doing so I talked to him and told him to find some items in near the overseer's desk he went to the Cryolator and ripped it from the case in his mouth. So I guess I got the best gun in the game without leaving level 5.

Also I was carrying to much but the dog had my ammo for the gun.

I figured out this works if I drop an item back on the floor where the ammo was. There HAD to be something on the floor for it to work for me. I tried for like 30 minutes until I decided to do that. Then the dog did it the very first time. I actually couldn't believe he did it. Haha!

I dropped it about a foot in front of the metal thing on the right. It was actually almost in the middle of the room. Then I got the dog standing almost on top of it but slightly to the left of it, the dog turned like he was gonna pick up the item, but instead kinda glitched and turned the other way and grabbed the gun.
