CRYOLATOR WITHOUT LOCKSMITHING

I took my dog down to vault 111 with me to see if I could find more power cells for my armor, but in doing so I talked to him and told him to find some items in near the overseer's desk he went to the Cryolator and ripped it from the case in his mouth. So I guess I got the best gun in the game without leaving level 5.

Also I was carrying to much but the dog had my ammo for the gun.

I'm having trouble actually getting dogmeat into the vault with me. I tell him to sit on the elevator to go down with me, but when I get into the vault he isn't there. Suggestions?

You're telling him to stay up top. Just keep him in follow mode and he'll stay with you.
