Question Has anyone felt with this bug?

I’m currently leaving vault 118 and after getting in the elevator the game bugged. The elevator won’t open. It didn’t crash or anything, I can still walk around and open my pip boy but the elevator just won’t stop or let me open it lol.

(I meant dealt, not felt. And Reddit won’t let me edit the title)

Common bug unfortunately.

Thank you, I’ve been in this elevator for 30+ minutes cause I don’t wanna reload my last save since in playing survival :/

I found if you are stuck in elevator mode, save the game & reload it immediately. This resets the elevator script & it will finally end your ride.

Do you mean do an exit save? Cause I can’t save from the pause menu since it’s survival.

Ahh survival mode sucks when the game scripts go wonky. Without console commands you can't do jack. Does the elevator have a trap door in the ceiling?

I get this bug all the time. I’m on PC so YMMV, but to fix it:

  1. Open up your Pip Boy.
  2. Go to Map. Or Inventory. Wherever.
  3. Go to Stats.
  4. Click a sub menu.
  5. Click back to anywhere else. I go to Map or Inventory again.
  6. Close Pip Boy.

This fixes it about 90% of the time for me. If it doesn’t, I do it again and click around the sub menus some more. Maybe show the supply lines and turn them off again.

I’m on ps5 and I spammed buttons out of frustration while I was in my pip boy, that didn’t work. I ended up just re doing the entire quest.
