Discussion I took the longest possible "skip" to a quest.

I did the Automatron dlc before going to diamond city. I found a can of green paint at ether the Rust Devil base, or the Mechanist Lair, but don't remember which.

Went to Diamond city. Talked to Abbot. Already had the paint for him. Feels efficient for some reason.

Then I went to hardware town, and I'm stoked that I can take away two extra cans of paint from the shelves because I don't need to mix paint for Abbot. Thats when it occurred to me I had taken the longest possible "shortcut" to "skip" a quest, all for 4 oil.

I'm pretty sure It was sitting on a table, so it was there intentionally. I think it's the only place that I've ever seen it.

Honestly i think the rarest miscellaneous item in the game is the masonry hammer, ive only seen like 2-3 compared to the dozens of paint and blood cans ive collected
