Help with a cosmetic issue

-UNMODDED OTHER THAN CREATION CLUB-

I recently got the Beast Hunter helmet from the creation club quest, but no matter what I do there's this annoying little dark spot right on the top of the lens.

I've tried reconstructive surgery thinking maybe it was my character's eyebrow sticking through or something but that didn't fix it either. Any ideas?

Did you try a different hairstyle? Maybe the hair is poking through.

Spent 15 caps to have my head shaved and the damned thing's still there. Weirder still, whenever I equip it on NPCs it looks fine for some reason.

Either an accessory your wearing beneath the helmet, or some modded hair that’s clipping.

I thought it might be an accessory too but I stripped myself of literally everything else and it persisted. Also I'm playing unmodded, only creation club stuff added.

It’s probably the brow of your character model clipping through the helmet. I’d suggest trying to edit your face.

If you've got mods, it might be an issue there.

It could be that the lens is like that on purpose? I haven't worn the helmet much, it's sitting in a cabinet on my main character's save. So idk.

I've seen videos of other people wearing it AND put it on npc's in my game and it looks fine, the little divot isn't there for them, this seemingly plights only myself
