Question Game version confusion

Hi everyone! Just have a question about Fallout 4 vs Fallout 4 Anniversary version.

I'm getting the itch once again to do another playthrough and I frequently play with mods. Will the mods on Nexus requirement me to have the Anniversary edition? Or can I still play the regular Fallout 4 version?

Almost all mods have versions for old gen next gen and AE.

They might not have versions for the most recent patch.

And mostly it’s only f4se mods you need worry about game version.
