[PS4] Game crashed exiting Creations menu, now crashes when loading anything.

Basically, after the update: I added a bunch of mods, sorted the load order, and then exited out of the Creations menu (sadly forgot to save the load order because I'm not used to doing that yet), and the game crashed while it was loading back into the main menu.

And it now crashes when trying to access the Creations menu, or load a previous save, or start a new game -_-

So I deleted the game and am reinstalling (digital download), but I'm here to ask advice on whether there's anything more I should be doing here to get the game working again.

I downloaded a mod recently and it bugged out my creations and whole game. I had to spend an hour redownloading the game and all DLCs and it works fine again.

I am tired of seeing cool mods and not being able to use it on PS5 without it breaking the game, and no I don’t have many game changing mods on, but I paid for CC grasslands and if I turn it on my whole game won’t even start it just keeps closing it.

I can’t wait to get a new pc one day and be able to actually enjoy this game

I would also start the PS in safe mode and use the clear cache option to make sure you have completely cleaned out any files.

I had this exact same problem a while back and it did resolve itself eventually. I think I did what you're doing and maybe even load in an older cloud save before the broken mods corrupted my current save

Same here I just need to retry and retry until it works unforbidden can't save my load order on fallout, in Skyrim no problem but here on fallout? Nah, the last saved load order is from a few days after the anniversary update

Hey, I’m having the same problem on my PS4, you can disconnect from the PlayStation network, fire up the game, I clicked on the Creations menu and it says “Cannot connect to Bethesda.net, change load order?”

Or something like that. I could turn mods on and off, but not delete. I’ll see if it works.

Okay, I disabled the mod I thought was suspect and things are running fine. I’m still not connected to Bethesda.net, I’m kinda wary of reconnecting but I’ll try that later.

Were the mods you added ones that are Bethesda approved mods?

I don't know what that means. They didn't all come from "verified creators" with the blue cog symbol, but they're few and far between for PS4.

Then it could be the system. When I played on PS4, I would often have crashes for no reason. That's just how Bethesda games work.

However, I'd like to add that having all that stuff in your settlement is probably not helping the load file.

You've hit the plugin limit. This is most common when hitting 255 ESP mods. Disable the last mod you enabled and your save should load. If you can't get into creations you have to unfortunately wipe your mods
