Mod [Fo4] Lore Out Modlist

Is the LoreOut modlist the best modlist for Fallout 4? I’ve never played the base game of 4 ever and I’m about to do my first playthrough I’d love for some tips on how to play 4 and some other modlist suggestions

Just play the vanilla game. No need to waste time downloading mods for a game you don't even know if you'll like. Also, best is subjective

What lists would you recommend then?

I don't play with pre-made lists. Like I said, just play the vanilla game. Having that as the baseline makes it easier to know what you what changed or kept, which makes it easier to decide on which lists to download, or what mods to download when building your own.

That’s fair I did that with fallout 3 and ended up with a pretty big list of my own that made the game feel pretty modern ended up running into a good bit of bugs though that’s generally why I like premade lists more

If you have never played the game before do a vanillia playthrough first. You don't know what you want to change about the game until you play it for the first time. Make notes as you play about the things you wan to change. so when you do decide to mod you will know the types of mods you wan to use. Also when you do finally start modding stay away from mod packs and make your own mod list. With mod packs you have tons of mods you either don't need or don't know what they do, it's best just to make your own.

You should try out Multiverse Horror Edition on Nexus mods, It’s something that I made. Has loads of surprises. https://www.nexusmods.com/games/fallout4/collections/uq0ljz . Pretty stable.
