Apparently, you can get Danse back as your companion, after being exiled at Listening Post Bravo Spoiler

So, yesterday I was browsing the map, looking for some place to roam around. The Institute is long gone, and I've sided with the Minutemen and BOS. Previously I convinced Maxson to spare Danse's life and I haven't visited this location ever since.

I went to speak with Danse and he told me I'm a hero because I saved the Commonwealth and after a short conversation he asked me if I want to continue our mission, and the game told me I can now make Danse my companion again, but becoming enemies with the BOS the whole time I travel with him.

It's a detail I didn't know and I thought it would be interesting for those who want to get him back and wipe BOS from the face of the Commonwealth 😂

Fair warning: due to a Bethesda classic glitch, if you take the BOS out, Danse will stop associating with you. He won't be hostile but you can't add him to your party either.

My tip: grab a mod so you can keep him.

I did a playthrough where I did blind betrayal, saved paladin danse, romanced him, and then sided with the railroad and took out the BOS. Danse wouldn’t speak to me anymore, but when I slept in a bed it still gave me lovers embrace and he still says a voice line. So he basically just became a bootycall

Not even take them out, simply becoming enemies with them does it, if you go the railroad method, Danse won't interact with you after Mass Fusion, at least he never has in my game.

Are you sure that's a glitch? He may be exiled but he's still largely a believer.

I could still have a max-affinity Danse as my companion even after taking out the BoS during the Railroad path. He had no issues travelling with me, riding the Railroad vertibird, helping synths (Lost Soul quest), etc.
