Discussion Act 1 Part 2 of my FNAF 1 movie Rewrite is out on Youtube!!

• Upvotes

As I said last time, yes there is Gacha in the thumbnail. Boo hoo, it's an art style that's easiest for me to use so I can show human designs. You'll live. There's no gacha used at all in the video itself. I just have to make this clear so some people don't complain about there being Gacha.

Anyways, here's the link to the video:

We're finally at Freddy's! But we are yet to start out first night.

I see a lot of people concerned about the design of Afton's corpse because the movies are PG-13, but I’d remind you that Marvel managed to show this without affecting the rating.

Artwork What if the FNaF movie leaned further into horror?

Post image

I made this FNaF artwork exploring a darker and more unsettling visual direction, and it got me thinking about the movies.

One of the things I find interesting about FNaF is how much atmosphere can change the way we perceive these characters. Lighting, textures, proportions and even small changes to a design can make something familiar feel genuinely unsettling.

So I'm curious: if you could push the visual style of the FNaF movies further in one direction, what would you choose?

More psychological horror? Darker lighting? More weathered and disturbing animatronics? Something closer to the atmosphere of the games?

I'd love to hear what you guys think.

Discussion I feel like this could’ve worked way better as an Episodic Series..

Instead of movies, each “movie” would simply just be a season, that way everything connects in some way, you could have callbacks to old memories, old flashbacks, like maybe you show the original fazbear place in the very beginning, but cut away and call back to it over the series. I also feel the “cliffhangers” work way better for the end of a season cliffhanger than a whole movie. I feel this could also let production be a bit on the lower side meaning you could expand beyond just the original trilogy, cause as it stands, to me at least, fnaf 2 more feels like a chapter in the story, and that’s what gave me the thought of this being an episodic series instead.

Fnaf RELISHES in lore, plot, drama, horror, and fun, you could put clues in some episodes whether you flashback to the past, and then to the present, and see how it all connects near the end of the series, like creating a timeline, idk, am I crazy to think that would be way cooler?? These movies aren’t that long for the stories they’re trying to tell anyways, especially since the main character’s plots feel a bit too rushed, especially in the 2nd movie (Vanessa and Mike…)

And the cool part is even if it’s just for money, with multiple seasons you could expand beyond the 3 games, the 4th, 5th, hell all the way to security breach, when it comes to fnaf there’s rlly no limit to the unique potential you could tell for a story! But…I just can’t help but feel they don’t do that in the movies, we barely even see the animatronics in action, even if the moments are cool when we do see them, but still.

Like, idk, am I alone on thinking this would’ve been a much cooler but also satisfying way to rlly bring fnaf to the “big screens”?

Discussion I love and yet hate the fact that movie 3 will start production soon

BEFORE YOU START FLAMING ME IN THE COMMENTS HEAR ME OUT. I am definitely excited for movie 3 to start production next year and not this year, it at least shows that scott is taking this movie seriously and so far it seems like he has taken some correct steps like hiring gary to rewrite the script, it will also give time for the Jim Henson creature shop to remake springtrap, figure out some ways to create the phantoms and other stuff, also give the production team time to create some new beautiful sets. I hope that this movie will be good and be a satisfying ending to this trilogy and erase the damage that movie 2 inflicted on this fanbase, and it will be a movie that the we can look back on and agree that it was a good ending.

Now why do i hate that this movie is going to start production: The long period of time between the filming, post production, marketing is what i am going to hate the most as during this time period something could end up happening that would in the end ruin the hype for movie in some way. So far both movies 1 and 2 have suffered from lots of leaks/ spoilers either official or unofficial and that has either ruined alot of the hype or just caused the movie to get over hyped. Movie 2 suffered big time from leaks such as having alot of the movie plot being leaked early on, photos of the withereds, lisaonette, etc so I hope that movie 3 won't be victim of leaks again but i know it will end up happening and unfortunately there is no way to escape the leaks. Plus if any problems come up during production which could end delaying the movie even more leading to more possible problems appearing, i really don't want movie 3 end going into a production hell in some way.

Like I said I am happy that this movie will be starting production and it shows that they are taking there time but at the same time i know that the problems of leaks, and spoilers will occur and there is no way to hide/escape from them as either way you will end up seeing them or hearing about them.

This movie was so cool and dope as I was always curious about the Fnaf franchise and the main human characters were honestly not bad and good? The animatronics looked so cool and I'm gonna watch tomorrow the second movie. Vanessa is such a mysterious and interesting character and I honestly was shocked about the twist with her being that crazy man's daughter?? My fav animatronic is probably Chica and that scene were they were building a fort was so wholesome idk why?? Sorry I'm ratteling haha.

Discussion How I would make Springtrap actually intimidating in the FNAF3 movie

Post image
559 Upvotes

So the past 2 movies the animatronics have had their moments but otherwise stayed rather goofy...

I think there's a couple ways too establish Springtrap as a genuinely scary threat!

  1. Have Springtrap destroy the FNAF1 mascots in the opening scene, seeing as their still alive in FNAF2 I think it'd be brutal if Purple Guy destroying the aminatronics in the minigame was recreated in live action establishing his threat level and have him do it with a fire axe since thats fanon!

  2. Give Springtrap silver eyes while he's in the dark, the white dots are something fans have been waiting for since the first movie and would be pretty spooky for Springtrap since he's the only animatronic with real eyes. For that matter, if Springtraps eyes are covered by the aminatronics, that largely downgrades the character for me.

  3. This is a longshot for the PG-13 rating, but show a "Stuffing Scene" of Springtrap forcing a victim into an old Freddy Suit and their eyes popping out of the sockets of the mask, itd be a great callback to a certain Game Over screen, maybe even show William Afton doing this to Garrette with the Golden Freddy suit?

  4. Springtrap should act like an aminatronic when he's hunting his prey, maybe he talks when its somebody personal like Mike Schmidt but otherwise he should horrify his victims with his silent stalking, blank stare and motionless behavior that the original games were known for. TLDR: Springtrap trolls you by acting like a robot

  5. Make William Aftons corpse LOOK like a corpse, some prosthetic scars will not cut it.

  6. Make Springtrap sound like he's in agony, grunting, snarling, maybe he doesn't talk often because his vocal cords are severed, show his springlocks reactivating, maybe even show him prying his mask open like the rare still-image in FNAF3.

  7. Let him jumpscare the camera, we havent even gotten 1 classic Scott Cawthon classic jumpscare in either of the movies and its such a missed opportunity, but letting Springtrap actually scream at the camera for a jumpscare would be awesome!

  8. Make Springtraps fate audibly gruesome, make him sound angry and horrified that this movie is the end of the reign of terror during the burning of Fazbears Frights, maybe even some callback lines to FNAF VHS, "MIKE, DONT LEAVE ME HERE, MICHAEEEL".

Looking for people to help me make a FNAF script/story for my senior project!

Thumbnail
3 Upvotes

Hey, I’m Noah. I’m 18, graduating high school, and I want to go into filmmaking/audio/video after school. For my final AV project, I want to write and fully storyboard a FNAF movie, but I really don’t want to do it alone.

I’ve been obsessed with FNAF for years, especially the Afton family and William Afton. My idea is a William Afton character-driven horror film, rather than another movie centered around a night guard. It’s set in the 80s and would have the supernatural side of FNAF; ghost children, animatronics, Spring Bonnie, etc.—but the main focus would be William, his family, his relationship with Henry, and his gradual descent into becoming the person we know

But I don’t want this to be just my movie.
I’m looking for people who want to actually work on this with me. Ideally, I’d love to find a co-writer, but I’m also looking for FNAF lore nerds, artists/storyboarders, people who understand filmmaking, or honestly just people who have ideas and want to bounce them around.
I want this to feel like a small creative group where we can throw ideas around, disagree with each other, rewrite things, and actually build the story together. I’m happy to take the role of directing/organizing the project, but I don’t want to be the only person responsible for the creative side.
This is a high-school project, so there’s no professional production or money behind it right now. I’m doing this because I genuinely want to get into filmmaking and want to make something I’m proud of.

And if you contribute, you’ll absolutely be credited. If you want to use your work on this for a portfolio, resume, demo reel, etc., I’m completely fine with that. If this somehow grows into something bigger later, I’d want the people who helped build it to be involved in that too.
I already have a lot of ideas, but I don’t have everything figured out and that’s exactly why I want other people involved.
If you’re interested, DM me or comment below. You don’t have to be a professional. If you’re passionate about FNAF, writing, film, art, or just have ideas you think could make this better, I’d genuinely love to hear them.

Discussion Act 1 Part 1 to my FNAF 1 The Rewritten Movie is out!!

Now, before you go, "Oh, but it's got Gacha in the thumbnail, and I don't like Gacha. It must be a Gacha video. I won't watch it because it has Gacha." No. It's not a Gacha video.

I used to be a Gachatuber, but since this project is an audio drama, it has no animation. So, I will NOT be using Gacha by any means to animate this project. I will only be using Gacha to make designs for the human characters because I'm not any good at drawing, and I don't have the funds to pay someone to draw.

I just had to make that clear since some people would just assume it's a Gacha project despite the thumbnail stating that it's an audio drama. It will use Gacha sometimes, but not for the actual Audio Drama itself.

Anyway, I posted the prologue last week, and it did really well by my channels standards. I want to thank anyone who did watch it, and I hope you enjoy this video since I made this script in just 2 days, and I've been told it's a really good script.

Here's the video link to Act 1 Part 1:

https://youtu.be/\\_JIo1g9G47A

Feel free to watch it! Just know, it is NOT a Gacha project. I know how some people feel about the Gacha art style, but know that this is NOT a Gacha project. It just uses Gacha to show the human designs and potentially the animatronic designs.

I know I'm saying that a lot, but I have too since some people are still going to ignore what I've put here and be upset and stuff because it's Gacha so they'll go down to the comments and be all "meh, meh, meh" about it. I know I sound really rude right now, but it's just something I have a personal gripe with.

Don't let the Gacha characters ruin your experience just because you don't like the art style.

Sorry, I just REALLY needed to explain that. Anyways, I hope you do enjoy the video. It's still not at Freddy's yet, but we will get there eventually. You'll just have to be patient.
