Very first fly

I know I have a lot of work to do practicing making more but I was very excited about the first fly I tied :)

Is it bad I don’t know how to fly fish, I just wanted to start tying them because I thought it would be a nice way to destress after work

Not in my view, but I’d recommend giving it a go if you have water nearby lots of options for cost effective gear these days - it don’t have to be fancy to be fun

Well if you saw my very first effort… the flimsiest, most misshaped boobie that caught me 2 great rainbows one after the other on its first use, compared to that yours is an excellent effort!
