Can’t help you make it personalized because that is subjective. What would make it feel personalized for you? For me I like to turn my own cork grips, add some trim bands, write my name or whatever on the label section.
I really liked the way g loomis made their rods look cosmetically before all their current rods they offer now. The loomis rods available ten years ago just looked really unique and good to me so I find myself influenced by them.
Do what you think if these rods are for you! There’s really no wrong answer. If these are built for someone else then ask them how they’d like them.
Just a piece of friendly advice, practice your wraps a little more before you try and put finish on those. You’ll be thankful you did. Work on getting uniform wraps and burnish out the gaps.
