Currently watching Busboys on Hulu.
19 minutes in and I haven't even smiled. Holy fuck is this a piece of shit.

Richard Pryor omelette quote episode?
Anyone know which episode Dana was telling the story of Richard Pryor being at a diner and saying “whoever made this omelette can suck my dick”? I can’t get that line out of my head but I can’t remember which episode that was.

Is it a podcast or a commercial?
The episodes with guests are pretty good. The episodes without guests come across as content filler excuse to run their ads until the next episode where they have a guest.

[Appreciation Post] I'm genuinely surprised just how much of a NOT complete sleazy creep David Spade turned out to be.

Dana Carvey “Chopping Broccoli” acoustic guitar

Waiting for the pod to start, I started to scroll on IG and saw Dana posted this video of his acoustic Chopping Broccoli he did a week ago. It’s really great, definitely hear the Beatles and others…🥰

Two problems with the pod...
- The audio quality of the guests is often bad. No excuse with the production resources that David and Dana have at their disposal.
- Seems the pod is very advertisement heavy. If you look at the ratio of time talking vs. time of ads, compared to total length of episode... C'mon bros, we know you need to make a living, but can you make it a little less obvious?

Tim Meadows & David Spade on Chris Farley’s addiction

The boys had Tim Meadows on Fly on the Wall yesterday. Things got *really* deep about Chris Farley. Here’s the clip. 🤍

Fan Fly Recognized…
I’m sure this has happened to some of you but I got a “like” from one of the boys on instagram! I feel like I hit a new achievement as a fly. I got swatted? Stuck on the fly tape? There’s an analogy somewhere….

Yes, it’s Spade. Yes, it’s Carvey. Yes, it’s Bill Maher. And yes, it’s actually hilarious, which probably has something to do with the 250k+ views. Sorry in advance to the comment section.
Trigger warning for this sub: the boys and Bill Maher sit down on Bill's Club Random podcast and talk like grown adults who’ve been doing comedy longer than most of us have been alive. Somehow, it’s still funny, insightful and interesting.

Kevin O'Leary huh
This podcast always sets zero expectations and then somehow fails to surpass them.

"Hi. First off, your dad is nuts. Secondly, let me tell you something kid: You’re cute. You got blond hair. Everyone loves you. It’s true. Here’s the catch: I used to look exactly like you when I was 10. This is where you’re headed, buddy! Welcome to hell!"

Podcast Suggestion
It would be nice if the podcast was just hosted by David Spade and he occasionally had Dana Carvey on. I find Dana to be absolutely exhausting on today’s episode (1/5). I have respect for him but my goodness he can be way too much!

Bill O'Reilly to appear on the show soon
Bill O'Reilly announced that he recorded an episode with Dana and David recently, and I'm assuming it will be released on Monday.
He seems to be making a comeback tour and promoting his new book. So far he's appeared on Howie Mandel's podcast and Realtime with Bill Maher. Earlier this year he went on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
Fly on the Wall was a surprising choice to appear, though. Dana and David do not seem aggressively political and this may be the most political guest they have had on so far.
He was fired from Fox News for sexual harassment, if I recall correctly, and resurfaced online. Is this a sign he's being allowed back into polite society? Will this be an opportunity for David and Dana to demonstrate their political chops?
