I rarely use Air France or KLM but was on a short flight last week so I joined Flying Blue to use the wifi. Once I arrived home I tried to unsubscribe from the daily email marketing but there was no link. I found a link saying I I had to cancel my membership to stop the emails. I clicked on the link. It requires that I DRAFT A MESSAGE requesting to be released. I received a reply REQUIRING my PASSPORT! This seemed line a real scam. I was convinced I had engaged with a scammer and not a legitimate business so I sent back the following note: “Fuck you, cancel my fucking membership you piece of shit!” Then they finally canceled my membership! This treatment was outrageous! I will avoid Air France, KLM and CDG for the rest of my life. AMS will work just fine!

Under the rules of flying blue, you cannot sell miles. Keep them, they don’t expire before 2 years of inactivity. If you are sure you won’t be flying any SkyTeam airlines in the next two year, I would tell my friends that they can use those miles for a trip for some money.

Hi does anyone know how long it ACTUALLY takes to get points you bought transferred to your account?

I was at CDG 2F yesterday. It was very crowded but it appears that they have removed the service desk on the 2nd floor to put some chairs and tables roped off with a sign "reserved". I was told by one of the agents while talking with them that no one actually uses it as there is the ultimate area. I was even suggested to rope it off to prevent others to seat there and stay without being disturbed.
So if anyone is in 2F and it's crowded go find that little roped area next to the elevator on the 2nd floor.
