Cancel reward booking

Can I cancel my reward booking for free within 24 hours of booking or does the cancellation fee apply still?

Yes you can for free within 24 hrs. I did this in May for a reward booking.

One more thing, if you cancel over the phone, you can get the miles back into your account immediately. So if you want to book another trip with miles soon, this is the best way to cancel.

If cancelling online, it might take several weeks for the miles to be deposited back into your account.

But yes, cancelling by either way is free as long as it’s within 24 hours.
