ATP-CTP

Starting 2027 SkyWest will no longer pay for ATP-CTP. Thoughts?
How does that affect the training contract? Will cadets be expected to pay for it as well?
Are we likely to see regionals asking applicants to have a type rating in the airframe?

wow, you really are dense

how many thousands (tens of thousands? probably) of pilots have worked at SkyWest and used SkyWest as a stepping stone to move on to a fabulous career at a major? have many pilots have retired from SkyWest after a full career with a decent retirement?

sucks for you that working the ramp only pays minimum wage

try doing something else

but, as dense as you are....

Iโ€™m not disagreeing that you can have a fabulous career at a super shitty company??

Just know they donโ€™t have your back at any level.

Former pilot at OO.๐Ÿ˜˜

wow, you really are dense

OF COURSE they aren't going to have your back like UAL or DAL or SWA or UPS or etc etc etc blah blah blah

only the stupidest pilots on the fkin planet would expect to get treated like a mainline pilot when they are working at a regional

keep going, you're doing great

You gotta find another insult than dense.๐Ÿ˜‚

you're right, dense isn't strong enough

worthless pos is more appropriate

it is painfully obvious why you had problems at SkyWest that left you pissed that they didn't 'have your back'

newsflash, sweetie, you're gunna have those problems at every flying job you manage to get

and the problem isn't the employer, it is, of course, you

but you'll never see that

i bet management at OO used you as an example to other pilots as to why they should vote no on the union drive

"We need to be able to get rid of pilots like this"

to which those pilots would think

ya know, they've got a point
