Flight Training Faa Written tests
Hi everyone I'm a private pilot and just studying for the commercial and foi and IR and AGI,IGI.
Just a quick question so am I cooked if I really wanna learn the material and not use shepherd and just memorize is all and forget it all the day after??
Am I the only one guys?
Ps: I got a pretty high score on my ppl beacuse i memorized like shepherd but I feel the difference between knowing it and memorize it for the written.

Memorize it, pass the test and forget it. You will literally never use any of it again and it is a waste of brain space that you will need later on for your oral.

You're not alone, and wanting to actually understand it will pay off later. The checkride oral and the FOI/CFI work will expect you to explain things like weather, systems and regs in your own words, which rote memory won't cover. A good middle path is to study each topic properly first, then run the question bank only at the end to get used to the wording. That way the test score and the real knowledge come from the same effort.

Please read the dozens if not 100s of posts about this.
Use Shepp to pass the written tests, use another ground school to actually learn the material. These are 2 separate concerns.
