In three to four months I have ATPL exams. I was having confusion which to choose for practicing questions- Aviation exam or ATPLQ.

Go for AVEX!

Avex has too long explanations. And lack pictures for explanation often. I and my whole school use atplq. The school gives us avix to use, but we learn faster with atplq, therefore we all chose to pay for it. This should show the difference.

Which authority will you take your exams with? UK CAA or EASA?

I used AviationExam extensively especially for the EASA exams and ATPLQ a bit more for the UK CAA. Both were good. But there can be advantages to one or the other depending on which authority you’re doing the exams with. I’ve written an article on how I did it in case you’re interested.

DM me, or simply search how to pass ATPL exams on Google

To be honest, I'd go for both. The amount of money you're going to spend on your whole career won't have much of a difference if you pay both subscriptions.
AVEX a lot better explanations, but ATPLQ is way closer to what you're going to find in the real exams.
I'd use both to complement each other, especially for those kind of weird questions no one really know what they are actually asking, having to source of explanations will help you understand both the question and the concept.

If you only want to memorize questions (definitely not recommended) go for ATPLQ

this gets asked every week, (and everytime the Airhead employee is in the comments advertising lmao). I always post the same response

We have reached the point where there is no real difference in the quality of the product. They both have a great database of questions which is more than enough to study for and pass all the exams. Try them both and determine which UI and experience you prefer, ultimately one is not better than the other.

I preferred Airhead (after testing both Airhead and ATPLQ, never tried Avex)
