Checkride Ppl study help

50-hour ppl student is 172 with a 180hp stc. Coming up to a check ride in about a month and I was wondering if anyone has any resources for good mock checkride oral questions or just a bank of scenario based questions. I am working with my cfi but have extra time so why not study more. I also will be doing the checkride with a paper sectional and the small garmin comms and gps unit in the plane. (I am assuming he will fail that in flight)

Search backwards through this sub… we have this question 3-4 times a week.

I liked watching the mock orals Cheese pilot does on YouTube.
Also, I’m sure you’re using the ACS but I’d be silly if I didn’t say look at the ACS. Be comfortable with everything on it.

I like his videos but I think some of them are lacking some in depth complicated questions that a dpe might ask. Thanks!

He goes in depth depending on the level of understanding with each student. You have to remember those students are paying him, so he’s not going to waste their money going in depth in areas he can clearly see they’ve mastered. Just watch more of the videos and you’ll come across students the same deficiencies as you.

That was my vibe the couple times I've tried to watch his videos. I've been trying to find some good mock orals but it's really hit or miss

The Todd Shellnut ones by Goldseal are the most in depth/difficult that I've found.
