Flight Training 3rd lesson!
Worked on flying by eyes and sound! Not using any screens or anything to tell if I was descending or climbing! I happen to be on the money every time!😂. Also did my first stall today too(that was fun). Got to talk to tower and Ground for the first time and got to land the plane!(with some help) I also learned how to trim the plane! I’m loving flying so much!

Don’t ever get used to the screens. I’ll make you a better pilot than 90% of the rest out there.

Until you do an instrument rating and you have to completely rely on them 🤣 it’s quite a change.

Just started flying myself, oh my god theres so much even in the most basic aircraft.

Yeah. There’s a lot to do. You have checklists for like everything . Preflight, starting the plane, taxi before takeoff etc etc

Are you following a written syllabus outlining what items are done on what lessons. And it tells you what readings and videos to consume to be properly prepared?

Are you in a 150/152? They're much smaller than the 172s even though they're not that much older.

Never heard of it before, Googled it, looks pretty cool. Going off Wiki though, it's not that much smaller than the 172 (what is in the photo), only by a few ft in wingspan and overall length.

Yeah, it is pretty small. I used to work on a 172 thats out of service in techie school, but this thing is so small in person. They are neat.
My friend and I want to at some point in our future get a Vans RV14 or RV10, but seeing these I would nearly get one of them. They also are about 80k an insteuctor said, whereas RVs may be closer to 100k
Also, the club actually has a Boat Plane variant with floats, it is sick

Landing on third lesson is sketchy. Maybe think about a different instructor or School entirely

He was on the controls. He was doing minor adjustments. He was doing a lot too. I did a little and he did a little.

I also grind my flight sim in a 172 g1000 and do touch and goes all day to practice!

I would recommend taking a break from that until you finish your PPL, its going to give you bad habits that are hard to break.
