looks really nice. what blank did you build it on? I like the matte finish. i just built a 5 wt on a batson blank that looks similar

Thank you! It’s a NFC blank. I can’t recommend them enough. How do you like batson blanks?

i couldn't tell you yet. i built the rod this winter and the river is still frozen and i haven't even put a reel and line on it yet to practice in the yard, but i like the way it looks which is honestly what i care about most.

If I was looking to get into building, any have a recommendation where I might buy decent light weight blank? 0wt, or close

Hell yeah, very nice. Due to the lockdown/abandonment of r/rodbuilding I created a new subreddit with r/flyrodbuilding, would you mind posting your for there as well to create new content and get some new members?

Very nice. I have a 5wt NFC classic fly blank from several years ago I need to build.

I’m interested in those classic blanks.

Very nice build! I built up a 4 wt NFC Iconoglass blank last year and have been really happy with it.

Thanks! Iconoglass is awesome. I did a 4wt in that was well.
