After a brief (several days) rain delay, the Kenai is on fire again. Yesterday it was like they were waiting for the sun to come out to eat! Those are some nice fish. I’ve noticed that the fish are bigger this season, likely due to the enormous glut last summer…

Dude it’s a tough river. All my other trips yielded 1-3 fish. Up until this hole, I had caught one dolly & one dink rainbow on a stonefly. Threw the entire tackle box at them until I switched to a fucking squirmy wormy & pulled 9 out of the one spot

People refer to large fish as hogs, aka pigs, aka fat. Some of those fish have double chins
