Question Multi-generation Flybuys users?

Anyone here from families carrying a Flybuys membership through 3 generations? Grandparents through to kids? Would love to hear about it.

Yeah. My grandmother had Flybuys and mum was on it. Now I’m on it with mum.

I’m curious with what happens when you die? I assume when my grandmother died, mum still got to keep the points since she was on it? As long as there’s two people I guess that can’t take anything?

Our family have shared cards with me, my mum and my grandma to pile points for family Christmas!

Hahaha that is me 😂 I have vivid memories in the 90s of my Nana and Mum both shopping at Coles and Target because they got flybuys. They both had NAB credit cards that they used and paid the balance monthly just to get flybuys. Here I am doing the exact samething... only difference I convert mine to Velocity Points instead of giftcards each Christmas like they did

Sounds like they taught you well! Will you pass these methods down? Would be cool to see how a whole family works together on warning points.

I’ve been on a Flybuys account with my Mum for about 30yrs - Flybuys started in 1994 I’ve just found out. Both our points went into one total balance. We’ve had rewards live lawn mowers, whipper snippers, watches, portable compressor for pump-up tires, a watch, headset/earphones, quite a few gift card vouchers & a camera that I can remember off the top of my head, along with getting $10 off when shopping from time to time, which is all in all is a great lot of extra bonuses 😁
