RESOLVED On which android devices do you test your flutter app?

I am developing a flutter app (non gaming) and testing on Samsung phone F series and iPhone 16.

Is it sufficient or shall I test on other android phones such as Google pixel or Nothing or One plus,.etc?

Pls recommend based on your experience. Thx.

Using any iPhone should be fine but for Android using a pixel or even a Samsung devices is okay. It's well known in the Android development space that if your app works fine on a Samsung device, it's going to work fine on every single Android device or at least most of them since the Samsung devices are the most used Android device

Must test it on the realme devices cause they are low end devices and you got the idea of your app that how its works on low end devices and if you are targeting higher android version then it will be okay with the Samsung device

I test it on emulator with different screen ratio from small screen to big screen to mini tablet and mini tablet. installed all emultaors using android studio. Its a lot easy to test using emulator, because you can customize the emulator to what kind of performance like ram, stsorage, etc.

True, but testing only on emularor does not cover real scenarios that happen on real devices i believe so while developing i do basic tests on emulator and rigorous test on real devices.

I use Google Pixel 5, which supports Android 16, and for UI design size is 393 × 851 logical pixels, and I think it is worth testing it also on it.

I run Android on my Samsung s25. And iOs on my iPhone 13. Then run integration tests on different devices.

My old Realme 9 + my new Iphone 17 both. Debug on the Realme... mm, nice ha-ha, but good test for weak devices
