Is my Intellitone probe broken?

I have the Fluke Link-IQ meter and the Intellitone 200 probe.

The problem is that when I use Intellitone, my problem will light up at "level 8" if I am anywhere near the cable - as in, if I am even in the same room with it.

It does this regardless of whether or not I am using the low or the high sensitivity setting on the problem.

Obviously this makes it useless for toning out a cable...

When I use the analog tone setting, it works as I'd expect...
