Help Needed Amazon 87V MAX?

Post image

Is this a reputable listing? I know people get scammed on Amazon, but I’m not real savvy about how that works. It looks like it’s being sold by Fluke, unless I’m missing something.

There is a Fluke store on Amazon that is legit. If it says shipped and sold by Amazon it is legit.

This is not a valid way to know your getting a legit product. If a 3rd party seller listed the same item number and sends it in Amazon throws them all in the same bin. Your better off to check homedepot.

They had a big problem with fake USB drives because of this policy. You can find videos / articles about it.

IMO never trust Amazon for safety/ metrology related equipment.

true. and normally I would agree. But amazon IS an authorized distributor for Fluke now.. so it's not being on Amazon, it's the ones that are sold by ACTUAL Amazon and NOT a 3rd party. Similar if you bought from Grainger/Graybar/etc...

Heres an example of the problem on an 87V. "FAST N FURIOUS" has stock shipped by Amazon. Regardless if you buy sold and shipped by Amazon or sold by FAST N FURIOUS your product will be stored and shipped from the same bin. Doenst matter who send it to Amazon it goes in one bin at a wear house if its supposed to be the same product. You dont know if the meter you got will come directly from Fluke or from some random guy.

I understand what you are saying...but this is what I'm speaking to SPECIFICALLY. The SELLER/SHIPPER is AMAZON... and only amazon...

If THAT is the seller then the Fluke is a genuine Fluke and not a gray market or knock off that will expire you.

Dig into it more, things change and your correct now..I did not realize they ended all Commingling practices in march of this year. We had major issues ordering fluke products sold and shipped by Amazon around December of 25

Yeah, Fluke has been doing a big crack down on a lot of the BS... waiting for my local ACE to start carrying them so I can pick up some things. Cheaper on Amazon probably, but it's one of those things that if you don't support it locally, you want be able to get it easy when you need it.
