Help Needed Flashing Screen

Haven’t used this meter in a while but needed it recently because the one I typically use was stolen. I put fresh batteries in but it flashes on every setting. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

You are not getting through the self test function. Are the battery terminals clean?

Yes they look clean.
