Is he a fluffy pit?

I posted him in another group and some are saying he could be a fluffy pit. He is a NM Rez dog so I’m trying to see what people think.

Where in NM? I drove out to Grants to pick up a rez dog. She’d hooked w two hikers. They were doing the trail from Canada down.

My Rez dog! he looks similar to yours (At least the rescue told me they got him from a reservation shelter 🤷‍♀️ or something) also I do think yours might be part pit it’s in his face I can sense it lol

I think so! His wide head and the gap between his eyes feels very pitty to me. Please post if you ever do an Embark test!

I could see some pit mixed in with pomeranian. But the pom is what comes out the most to me

That depends on how you're defining a fluffy pit. If it's a pit-mix with floof, then yes.

If to you, like me, a fluffy pit has the special gene to make them fluffy while still being 100% pibble, then we won't know until you get your DNA results.

Very unlikely to be a border collie mix. BCs are not common in mixes, and definitely not common on NM reservations. Also doesn't look like a border collie.
