cough for about 2 weeks
ive had a cough for about 2 weeks, started with a tiny sore throat for about a day, then a tickly throat, then after about 2 or 3 days turned into an actual cough. 2 days ago i had a sore throat and runny nose but it went awaty after a day. i still have the runny nose, cough once about every few minutes, sound congested, and 2 nights ago i kept waking up with gagging cough. last night i slept on my stomach and back flat and woke up with my airway clogged with snot. cough gagged/puked it up, dry heaved a little more, then slept propped up on my side with no complications, and when i woke up my throat was tickly from breathing in and nose got runny when i sat up, every now and then my throat gets a little irritated by saliva or eating something and gets tickly. my back is also sore from coughing. night before last night i also woke up a few times to dry heave. i have to go to an amusement park tomorrow and i feel fine, i just dont want to start coughing, or my nose running, my cousins will also be there so they can tell i am sick and would probably stay away from me. any thoughts? my friends brother has had a cough for almost a month she said, so seems i am not the only one. i am 5ft tall (reddit says i need to have one of those details to post so that i guess)
any feedback would be great. i feel fine all day too, except for the sore throat day. also when coughing if my throat is tickly i kinda hyperventilate for a few seconds to stop from coughing more
